Cutting edge solutions
TRIM® semisynthetics offer the cooling and lubricity of a synthetic without the higher oil content of an emulsion. Designed to operate at higher SFPM, semisynthetics perform well on many operations including face milling, cut-off turning, grinding, tapping, and drilling — depending on the specific product.
Semisynthetics are compatible with alloy steels, tool steels, cast irons, copper alloys, as well as plastics and composites. With less carryoff, semisynthetics use less material — it all adds up to lower costs.
Low-foam Ferrous Semisynthetic
TRIM® MicroSol® 456 low-foam semisynthetic, microemulsion coolant is optimised for high-volume cast iron, ferrous, and some aluminium and nonferrous metalworking operations. MicroSol 456 prevents leaching of elemental iron and eliminates clinkering and oxidation of ferrous micro fines.
Delivering extended sump life, machine-friendly MicroSol 456 provides excellent, cost-effective cooling. Make a difference to your bottom line with MicroSol 456.
Cutting and Grinding Fluid Concentrate
TRIM® MicroSol® 515 is a medium to high lubrication, semi-synthetic microemulsion coolant. It provides excellent cooling and mechanical lubricity, along with the machine friendly characteristics you would expect from a premium TRIM® coolant. While it is particularly well suited for machining and grinding cast iron it does very well in mixed metal situations and is a proven performer when machining aluminium, inconel and titanium alloys.
Premium Microemulsion
TRIM® MicroSol® 519 is a medium to high lubricity, semisynthetic, microemulsion coolant. The formula provides excellent cooling and mechanical lubricity, along with the machine friendly characteristics you expect from a premium TRIM® coolant. Whilst it is particularly suited to machining and grinding cast iron and steel, it does very well in mixed metal situations and is a proven performer on aluminium alloys, stainless steels and titanium.
High-lubricity Semisynthetic
TRIM® MicroSol 530 is an environmentally-friendly semisynthetic, microemulsion coolant formulated especially for the machining of aluminium alloys. It utilises the newest technology to provide long-life and excellent protection of sensitive alloys. The outstanding lubrication properties of MicroSol 530 provide surface finish levels on aluminium components normally only seen with very high oil containing milky emulsions. Unlike those emulsions, MicroSol 530 is very clean running and keeps machine tools clear of unsightly residue build-up as well as reducing concentrate consumption.
Extended-life, Nonchlorinated Semisynthetic
TRIM® MicroSol® 585XT is a high-lubricity, semisynthetic, microemulsion coolant. The formula delivers extended sump life and better foam control versus previous generation semisynthetics. It provides excellent cooling and mechanical lubricity, along with the machine-friendly characteristics you expect from a premium TRIM® coolant. While it is particularly well suited for machining and grinding gray iron, it does very well in mixed metal situations. MicroSol 585XT has proven to be an exceptional machining fluid for titanium alloys.
Advanced Technology Aerospace Semisynthetic
TRIM® MicroSol® 590XT is an environmentally-friendly semisynthetic, microemulsion coolant formulated to pass aerospace approval test requirements. It utilises the newest technology to provide long life and excellent protection of sensitive alloys. MicroSol 590XT improves on the proven performance of previous generations with a robust stability package using the most environmentally-safe ingredients. The formula is a favorite of environmental advocates, safety professionals, and demanding production managers.
High-lubricity, Low-foam Premium Semisynthetic
TRIM® MicroSol® 690XT is a high-lubricity, semisynthetic, microemulsion coolant. The formula delivers extended sump life and better foam control versus previous generation semisynthetics. It provides excellent cooling and mechanical lubricity, along with the machine friendly characteristics you expect from a premium TRIM® coolant. It does very well in mixed metal situations.
Low Foaming Semisynthetic Fluid
TRIM® SC415 is a lower foam, semisynthetic coolant specifically formulated for machining and grinding of cast iron and steel. This unique formulation ensures low levels of foam not generally seen with other semisynthetic products especially in soft water areas. This clean running formulation also prevents the loading of grinding wheels, ensuring good surface finishes and minimal burning.
Low oil Semisynthetic
TRIM® SC440 is a low foam, semisynthetic coolant specifically formulated for machining and grinding of cast iron and steel. This unique formulation ensures low levels of foam not generally seen with other semisynthetic products especially in soft water areas. This clean running formulation also prevents the loading of grinding wheels, ensuring good surface finishes and minimal burning.
Low foam Semisynthetic
TRIM® SC440SW is a very low foam, semisynthetic coolant specifically formulated for machining and grinding of cast iron and steel in soft water. This unique formulation ensures low levels of foam not generally seen with other semisynthetic products. SC440SW’s clean running formulation also prevents the loading of grinding wheels, ensuring good surface finishes and minimal burning.
Low-oil Semisynthetic
TRIM® SC536 is a low oil, semisynthetic coolant that delivers significant performance improvements over previous generations of metalworking fluids. SC536 is a proprietary formula of specially synthesized oil and synthetic technologies blended to deliver unbeatable performance in a variety of machining and grinding operations. This innovative blend keeps machines clean and provides the longest sump life available.
High Performance Semisynthetic Fluid
TRIM® SC617 is a semisynthetic concentrate designed as a general purpose multi-metal coolant for general machining of ferrous and non-ferrous materials.
